I found this last Friday at the Markets at Shrewsbury. It was certainly... different.
I happened to find the guy’s series of build log videos, too. I’m impressed at the workmanship that was put into this thing!
As the story goes, a tree fell on it, so this was the most logical progression.
Honestly, I can’t think of a better use of a tree damaged Jag...

It looks really well done, too.

Judging by the videos and seeing it in person, it seems like the owner is actually a decent fabricator, and not just some backyard hack.

That is amazing, my only complaint is it needs a wooden bed!

Turn the bed into a pleasant outdoor patio with a small wood-fired furnace, and you’ll have some Jeremy Clarkson bait

That’s cool. I wonder how many DIY utes were inspired by a tree falling on the car. Probably a lot.

Not mine... but it was otherwise ready for the scrapyard when I bought it
Kudos to the Jagute builder though, his work definitely stands up to closer scrutiny!

“Not mine” = this build wasn’t inspired by a tree falling on the car (meant to reply to Urambo Tauro)
